Charlotte hands over the money collected
When Charlotte decided she wanted to jump out of a plane and face her fear, she never expected that not only was she really going to face her fear head on but also going to raise €1500 for the AOA (Associação Oncológica do Algarve) a charity setup to help people with the fight against cancer. Design of the 18 hole mini golf course
While discussing the planning of the 18 hole mini golf range, Jeremy came up with this excellent idea of forming a competition where the people who will be playing the course could get involved with the design.
So, design a hole was created!
Design a hole and if your design is selected the hole will be named after you. All entries need to be received by 20th September 2010 and the official email address for sending your designs is golf@quintaboanova.com.
We will also invite the winners of the various holes to the official opening of the course and to attend the big party… something not be missed.
Please note you can send as many designs as you like which naturally increases your chances of having more than one hole named after you.
Our aim is to have a little fun and who knows maybe we can group some holes and have a family section.

Fiday Night BBQ and Live music
Well it is hard to believe Friday has come and gone and another week has ended!
As usual we had our BBQ night and thanks to all (over 40 in all) who supported it, yet again a wonderful way to spend a Friday evening on holiday - good food -good drinks - good company - good music and an evening under the moon light.

Day at Sea

What a perfect day
Jack and Linda decided that they wanted to do something different this time and so they decided they wanted to do a boat trip. We arranged the trip and took them off to Portimão to meet the crew around 2.30 in the afternoon. We had booked food for them and of course plenty of refreshments to ensure they lacked nothing.
I went to pick them up at 9.30pm in Portimão and was meet by a beaming smile and two very happy people who had the time of their life. They came back and have promoted the trip to all – so great to see they enjoyed it!
